So, what is wheel alignment?

Wheel alignment, often called geometry, is about how your wheels are positioned and how they move.

The main elements are:

• Camber - wheel tilt inwards or outwards
• Toe - direction the wheels point in or out
• Caster - The forward or backward tilt of the steering axis ( SnapBack on the steering) 
  

These directly affect:

• Handling
• Stability
• Tyre wear
• Steering feel

If any of these are off, the car won’t drive properly.

As soon as you change the ride height:

• Suspension angles change
• Factory specs become irrelevant
• Tyre wear increases if not corrected
